Purpose
This is a great brain break for a conference or a large group of people. It is incredibly simple and easy to understand and follow. Which makes it ideal for large groups of people. It is also very high energy.
Demonstration / Guide
I start by gathering everyone together and reigning over the rules of Rock, Paper, Scissors to make sure that everyone is on the same page of how to play. Specifically, it is supposed to go “Rock, Paper, Scissors, shoot” and you show your hand on shoot. There is no twist to this part. It is just the normal game.
What makes it entertaining is what follows. Which is to say John loses to Jane. John now becomes Jane’s Biggest fan. He must follow her around and cheer her on, chant her name, hype her up as she plays rock paper scissors.
Say Jane beats the next person who also had a “biggest fan” Jane now has a collection of 3 fans that are following her around and hyping her up. This continues until everyone in the entire game is on one side or another. The game of course ends when the last person wins the last round and everyone who was playing is now their biggest fan.
Optional extensions.
This game can go by very quickly, even with a large group of people. So I find it fun to play the game several times. Biggest statistically, it should be a completely different person/game every time you do it.
Explaining the requirements
Gather everyone together
Explain Rock, Paper, Scissors, SHOOT!
Each player finds one other person
They play until one person wins
The loser becomes the winner's biggest fan.
If a loser already has multiple fans, the fans and the loser join the winner.
Everyone is involved the entire length of the game
This continues until everyone becomes the last player's ‘biggest fan.’
